Here are some Christmas cards that i have made using the Smirk Christmas range. I love them! Such quick cards to make! My favourite is the deer ones! Some are just using Smirk papers and some i have used the Smirk Christmas stamps! i used small cards too which makes them even more cute!

I have used a Penny Black stickaroo and i have gone for a birthday theme as i have a few friends who have birthdays coming up so i made them nice and pink and girlie!

2009 Christmas Cards

I have just finished making my christmas cards to send out to friends and family this year. I used a website called 'www.scrapblog.com' (its my new addiction!) The photo is of my cat where i was a bit mean and put a cat scraf on him and took a photo! i then used to website to add a santa hat on him and add a background! cute eh?!

MOJO106 & Sketch & Stash Challenge 20

Hi

I know i've been so slack but have had some busy weekends and just havent had any inspiration! Today has been the day where i have had a few ideas - The first one i made was a men's birthday card using Claire Curd stamps - they are so useful! I got inspiration from this week's Mojo Monday sketch. My second design is using my new Stamping bella Ketto stamp! Its so cute and gives me an excuse to use glitter and to make it sparkle!! I've used a craftworks background paper which i think really works. I love it! I used a sketch from 'sketch & stash challenge 20' but i moved my ribbon to the bottom rather than the side!

Couple of Cards

Here are a couple of cards that i have made this weekend - Have got another two to make so hopefully i'll add those on here too.

One is using a cute forever Friends stamp and an idea from MOJO blog and the other is a bit of a cheat! I used a Penny Black Sticker so it makes it a quick card to make!

Claire's Sketch Challenge 25th July-07 Aug

Well i thought it was about time that i uploaded a card. Its been a while! Here is a card that i have made using the sketch on the 'Stampin' Chic' blog. I have used claire's papers. I have then used my new stamp which is a Stamping Bella (my new favourite stamp range) called 'Grill a fella' and then used 2 of claire's stamps from her 'for him' range!

Craft Barn Inspiration!

Yesterday I went to the 'The Craft Barn' in Lingfield for their demo day! Lots of people there with lots of ideas and then went into the shop to spend some money!!
The best thing about this shop is that they stock 'Staming Bella' stamps! i've been looking at these stamps on Stamping bella's website for ages but they are based in Canada so never ordered any! So exciting! i only bought one which was 'Surfafella' where i have made a card. i'm hoping to add to the collection!

Just realised that I only post cards on a sunday although that's normally the only time i have any spare time to make cards!

So here is my Sunday card for this week! It's using Clare Curd's paper's, a stamp from Lily of the Valley and the swirl from a sizzix die.

Ok, the last card from me...for today! This is using Claire curd's signature range papers and one of her stamps from the 'chic' range. I wasn't sure if it all looked a bit too much but having a bit of colour makes it stand out!

My Easter Card

Here is my Easter card that i sent out to my family members. They were slightly varied with different background papers but the same design! I love this penny black stamp (called 'eggceeding happy') and painting it gives it that softer look!

Claire's colour Challenge

Laptop is back up and running so can finally start uploading cards again!
I love Claire's new stamps and papers, so as well as doing the 'pink & black' requirements i thought i would also use all Claire's products too!

Cards from Workshop

Afternoon

Yesterday i went to the 'Glitter Pot' craft shop and attended a 'Penny Black' workshop. We spent the morning making two cards - i cant take the credit for the designs as they were designed by the lovely lady who took the class!
I experienced 'flocking' for the first time - bit messy but i might try it again! (fuffy appearance which is on the bottom on the fairy's dress!) and i also done some embossing again! (stamped the flowers on the background paper and embossed in white) it looks so effective so i am going to try this again!

My first card upload!

Here is a card that i made in the week. It's using a 'Penny Black' stamp which are my favourites and your probably end up seeing a lot of them on here! I used whispers pens as water colours to colour them in - i love it! I think it would be a good stamp for hen night invitations too!
